The industry of modern leasing generated in the 1950's, and has form an mature system in most developed countries such as America, Britain, Germany, and Japan as the more than 50 years' development. Financial leasing, the representation of the modern leasing, has occupied the second important way to finance for companies. In China, the pioneer financing company was established in 1980's. After that some small national leasing companies established which can only run operating leasing projects owing to the government's regulation and their limited capability. During this period, the relative big leasing companies who can run financial leasing projects are all invested by foreigners or co-invested by foreign and domestic investors. Since late 2004, the tested domestic financial leasing companies are advocated by national government and thus the leasing companies in China will have more choice of operating modes.The thesis focuses on the problem of how to choose the conformable operating mode adapted to the company's statement and the market environment on the aspect of leasehold company. The industry of leasing nowadays plays a more and more important role in company's financing and operating in the world. Till now, Chinese researchers in leasing field pay much attention on the way of operating, risk control&management, and the calculation of reprise, which is mainly considered on the aspect of leaseholder. However, in this thesis the author try to analyze the characters of the different leasing modes and how they influence the leasing company's income. Some models and cases are given in the thesis. It make some sense in providing theory support for leasing company's estimation before established and the mode's choice when running the company, which is propitious to the leasing companies' rational orientation and thus collocates the resources optimally.
