SME become the important part of national economy, meanwhile, information technology is also applied in them quickly. With the restriction of lack of resource and personnel, the application of IT in SME is also unsuccessful. How to overcome this problem has become the hotspot of academic and practical study.As a result of its unique technical characteristic, the EC applies into SME becomes the informational important link. Facing the impact of internationalization and the opportunity of network economy, how to help SME develop rapidly through the method of B2B EC becomes the government, educational world universal issue of concern. Compares with the developed country, the rate of popularization of EC in Chinese SME is low, and the rate of success for EC implementation in SME is not high. Domestic and foreign scholars already pay attention to the research of critical successful factors of EC, but the research of B2B EC for Chinese SME certainly not saw in view of them. This article author is engaged in this kind of practical work for many years, and summarizes the critical successful factor system in B2B EC implementation for Chinese SME through the theory literature research, and sample enterprise interview as well as the case enterprise demonstration research.In part one of this article, the realistic significance, objective and method of study is introduced. In part two, the theory of B2B EC and the imminence and trouble of implementation of EC for SME are pointed out. In part three of this article, the Critical factors that determine the success of B2B EC is revealed by comparing the Critical items of successful enterprises sample with those of failed enterprises. In part five, these six Critical factors are verified by two cases of enterprise by demonstration study. In last part, get the conclusion of Critical factors in B2B EC implementation. By the studying way of searches for literature, questionnaire interview, and case analysis, the six critical factors system is summarized, which could provide the reference for SME in B2B EC implementation.
