Research On The Design Of The Supplier's Quality Control System For The CNHTC Power Unit Department

CNHTC is the production bases of heavy - duty trucks in our country, and is the leader in the market. In 2006, CNHTC formed the power unit department to be in charge of the four companies involved with power engine the in order to optimize the resource of the corporation, and the power unit department is responsible for the four companies' quality plan, technology quality, procurement and the sales. Against this background of the organization structures of CNHTC power department, how to control the suppliers' quality is a new problem.ISO/TS 16949 technical specification provides a more competitive management mode for us, and the automotive production has paid much attention to it since it was issued. ISO/TS 16949 has been extended in our country, especially in recent years, many motors corporations require their suppliers to pass the ISO/TS 16949 certification in order to promote the product quality, and the suppliers without the certification will lose the qualification. This phenomenon promotes the application of ISO/TS 16949 in China.For the automotive corporations, the quality of the purchased parts can affect the quality of the motors directly. More than 95 percents after-sales service problems are caused by the purchased parts quality. The introduction of ISO/TS 16949 provides a good method to the motors corporations to control the suppliers quality and standardize the suppliers' acts.Against the special the organization structures of CNHTC power department, according to the practice of the power unit department, this article introduced the management concepts of ISO/TS 16949 to the department and designed the supplier quality control system for department. By analyzing the practice of the power unit department in the past year, we found the problems in the supply management, and at the same time put forward the supplier quality control plan, which includes the suppliers development, suppliers audit, the product approval procedure, quality improvement, information communication and the supplier's performance evaluation. This article also gives the comprehensive design of the supplier quality control system for the CNHTC power unit department, and at last it points out some important problems in the process to apply the supplier quality control system.The novelty of this article is the design of the information communication system and the supplier's performance evaluation, and it also brings up some new ideas for suppliers development and suppliers audit.
