Today’s market is constantly changing, innovative technologies are emerging, product’slife cycle continues to be shorten.In order to gain greater competitive advantage, more andmore enterprises at home and abroad in the wave of globalization, which are divesting theirnon-core business, turning to the external supply,So it’s beneficial to focus on their mainbusiness or the development of core competencies.As we all know, automobile parts manufacturing industry is one of the largest number ofparts in manufacturing field, which makes its supply chain more complex and quality riskassessment. From2009to the present, the huge global shocking recall nearly10millionvehicles event of Toyota broke the Toyota myth, which is famous for Lean Production,moreover,the recall event highlighted the oversight and weak of their supplier qualitymanagement. China’s auto industry steadily comes into ascent stage, and there are manyopportunities and challenges. The first five years plan after financial crisis is The TwelfthFive Year Plan, which is to be achieve great power of the vehicle. In such a competitivemarket environment, how to improve product and supplier quality, reduce procurement costsand risks in the complex supply chain system the various aspects of Chinese automotivesupply network have to faced, but also which are necessary road to achieve the powerfulnation of car.Supplier quality management of automobile and related parts manufacturing as theBreakthrough Point to this paper, and it takes supplier quality management of V Company forthe study, starts from basic of quality management and supplier quality management theory,discusses the feasibility, necessity and importance of supplier quality management under theISO/TS16949:2002Management system mode. The thesis analyses and summarizes thestrengths and experience of V company’s supplier quality management based on in-depth andfield investigation,analysis and statistics of V’s supplier quality management, and usesrelated theory, methods and tools to identify the exits weaknesses and analyze its main reason,then puts forward improve and settlement proposals, ideas from part to whole that can be alsobenefit for the domestic counterparts, which can learn and promote from the experience andmethods. Meanwhile, the establishment of an effective quality management system lies inmeeting customer demands, a sound management system, leadership and full participation hasbeen clearly put forward in the effective supplier quality management.
