With the development of market competition, the change and update of the customers'need bring the challenge and opportunity for discrete manufacturing enterprises. Using advanced manufacturing technology and management methods is the important measures of improving the competition capability to improve production capability and efficiency of enterprise production system. The multi-categories and small-lot production mode becomes the dominant mode. It is the urgent affairs to assess the production capability by rule and line in the new production measures in the violent market competition. The production capability is changed with the change of production control and technical conditions. In the multi-categories and small-lot production mode, labor ration and experience estimate have been replaced by monitoring the production capability in spots and changing the system controlling capability. They have been out of reason. In modern times, the mensuration capability system possesses controlling, self-adaptability and self-study. So they can control production and adapt the market change rapidly.In multi-categories and small-lot production mode, the production capability is evaluated by means of funnel model and complexity analysis and discrete dynamic system in discrete manufacturing enterprise. The computer simulating software is used to analyze the production line in order to offering the scientific reference for assessing production capability and strategic decision-making. The research is done in the paper as follows:1. This paper analyses the new situation of discrete manufacturing, and illustrating necessity of evaluating means using in production capability. It introduces production capability briefly, and studying ancient assessing means and content inside and abroad. Then I bring forward central researching content and paper background. In the researching, ration and main product which are used to scale and show production capability can not adapt to multi-categories and small-lot production mode. So if we want to control production well to adapt to speedy change market demanding and providing decision-making gist for leadership, we should make production capability estimate systematization and self-study.2. This paper introduces definition and content of complexity research, and analyses complexity of production capability evaluate. By using the theory of information entropy, production capability is analyzed and calculated just for people and equipments. System is an organic whole which is composed of several parts that associate and restrict and affect each other, which makes every subsystem get influence of others and also influence others at the same time, and makes the system have randomicity. So the research of system should be analyzed from the bottom up and from qualitative to quantitative.'Z'deltoid analyzing method of axiom design is used in qualitative analysis, which makes working procedure time and working procedure interval time of production cycle as calculating genes. Complexity categorizing of axiom design is used to categorize influence factors of production capability. Static entropy of information entropy is used to calculate the complexity degree in production capability mensuration. Then we can compare the reliablity and production capability of different product line.3. In the paper , I introduce the model of the funnel, and application of the production cycle, the task production cycle as a new method of the production capability mensuration. I give the production model analysis of funnel model; using shock absorber factory production model to calculate the production cycle and the task production cycle. In the past using amount of production denoting the production capability is no longer applicable to production mode of multi-categories and small-lot .Using the amount time of the production cycle and the task production cycle to denote production capability. Examples of the analysis showed that this method was applied to production mode of multi-categories and small-lot.4. For a model of discrete production lines I construct a hypothetical. By application of the theory of discrete event dynamic systems, I made analysis and calculation to the production ration and work-in-process. Production levels in the time line show a non-linear performance, which made it difficult to study changes of system in the law system. Algebraic computation greatly to the special rules may be converted to a linear relationship between non-linear logic, thus can be established in time and form of a simple linear model, simple, quantitative, quantifiable method of the system for analysis. Application examples show discrete dynamic systems can accurately calculate the volume of production and products.5. The production line of the shock absorber is simulated by Flexsim. Good results of the analysis of the production line bottlenecks in processes and products will be very helpful. Flexsim simulation software is more advanced simulation tools for object-oriented software resources to facilitate the scheme of arrangement, the plant design and site planning, logistics and supply chain design, investment plans, improve business processes, improve customer service, warehousing center for the establishment and operation efficiency in areas such as simulation and optimization. Graphics simple words, the findings highlight significant, it may be more accurate understanding calculate production capability and work-in-process.In conclusion, the present research work is summarizing, and production capacity research is to be further studied. This summary shows an accurate and effective method of evaluation production capacity. Complexity and the application of discrete dynamic systems with innovative provide theoretical guidance for the discrete manufacturing industry.
