Hu-Friedy Medical instruments(shanghai) Co., Ltd was set up in June 2004. It is a specialized medical instruments manufacturing company which is wholly owned by Hu-Friedy (American)company. Hu-Friedy (shanghai) company is located in Kang Qiao industrial zone. Because Hu-Friedy ( shanghai) company is a roughly new company and also the product need to face drastic competition. So how to launch the product as soon as possible, occupy the Markey share and well know by local customer, make well preparation for all product fully launch into Chinese market, that has been a prior issue need to solve. So it is necessary to develop a strategy ,build up a correct objective to lead company forward.I make analysis for outside and inside factor of Hu-Friedy (shanghai) company, find out the opportunity, threat for company and internal strength and weakness. Through the above strategic factor analysis, I found the most important internal issue of company was single sales channel and high manufacturing cost currently although with good product quality and advanced technology; outside issue need to solve is drastic competition between the craft brother, specially is the lower cost competition from Shanghai Surgical Industrial Factory and Shanghai Dental Industrial Factory. So I make a proposal for short term plan.Firstly, implement sales strategy.Secondly, implement cost strategyBase on the above action, I also make the further proposal for long term development, that is build up core competence to win the further competition in future.
