Research On County Economy Development Of Jilin Province

County economy is the most basic unit in regional economy. The development of county economy is of great theoretical and practice significance in the reforms of our country's economic systems, establishment and improvement of socialist market economy systems.Currently, county economy takes quite a large proportion in our country's national economy. According to statistics, more than 1.08 billion people of our country live in county territories, accounting for over 85% of the total population of our country, so, county economy holds a very important position in our country, and it is of an important feature in the current development stage of our country's economy. This paper, guided by the significant ideologies of Marxism, Deng Xiaoping Theory and"Three Represents", referring to relevant economic theories of the west, makes an in-depth study of county economy theories and practice, especially the development situations of the county economy of Jilin Province, and proposes some policies and suggestions on further developing the county economy of Jilin Province. The main body of the paper is composed of the four chapters:Chapter One discusses the basic theories of county economy and expounds the important significance of developing county economy in Jilin Province. It probes some of the basic concepts of county economy, basic models of county economy and their composition factors and main characteristics. It analyzes the basic regularities of county economy development stages and operations. It discusses the important significance for Jilin Province to develop county economy.Chapter Two studies the current situations of the county economy development and the achievements made in the county economy development of Jilin Province, summarizing the main models and major practices, analyzing main difficulties and restrictions in the development of county economy of Jilin Province. Chapter Three makes empirical studies of Jilin Province's county economy development. It discusses in details the county economy development situations in Meihekou City, Dehui City and Nong'an County, existing problems and major measures to address these problems. It analyzes the main experience and practice of these cities and counties in developing county economy, identifies problems and finds revelations.Chapter Four focuses on the master ideas and policies selections to develop county economy in Jilin Province. It sums up the above studies and, bearing in mind the existing problems of county economy development in Jilin Province, proposes some guiding theories, ideas, master ideas and policies to further develop county economy in Jilin Province: government leading role phasing out, identifying the main road of development with market as the main body; fostering dragon-head enterprises, accelerating the industrialization of agriculture; developing specialty economy, and raising industrial competitiveness.
