Research On The Issue Of County Economy Development In Tonghua County In Jilin Province

Tonghua county subordinates to municipal Tonghua. The development of Tonghua county is much faster than other counties which subordinate to municipal Tonghua. If we only talk about Tonghua, under the condition of the rich in natural resources and the lag seriously in economic resource, a few townships develop fast but others lagging. The paper analyzed the cause of the development gap among all townships in Tonghua county under the same natural and political situation. Based on present situation in Tonghua, the author tries to seek for the whole advantages, disadvantages, the opportunity and challenge during the county's development. Furthermore, the author puts forward the countermeasures on improving the economy development in Tonghua county through learning the experiences of other provinces or cities whose county economy develop fast.The paper is divided into 5 parts. The first part is preface. This part illustrates the content, the trends of domestic and foreign regional economy research and research methods. Part two focuses on the connotation, character, goals, principles of county economy, and the disadvantages which restrict the county economy development. Part three introduces Tonghua county economy situation. The pharmaceutical, building material, foodstuff and mining industries are the backbone industries of Tonghua. The four industries all present prosperous marketing in these years. In part four, the author did research on Tonghua county economy development through applying the SWOT model. And the author analyzed the advantages, the disadvantages, the opportunities and the challenges of Tonghua county economy development. In part five, the author put forward the countermeasures for Tonghua county economy development from five aspects which include the innovation of economic structure, system innovation, agriculture stability, soft environment constructing and brand strategy.
