Research On The Foreign Trade Surplus Of China

The author analyzes the situation of China's present foreign trade surplus, and proposes some suggestion to improve China's foreign trade in this thesis.The first part of this thesis introduces the basic situation of China's foreign trade at first. The second, it analyzes the constitutive characteristics of China's foreign trade. As for the type of foreign trade, the amount of the processing and assembling trade is much more than that of the ordinary trade; As for the enterprise property, mainly enterprise property focuses on the foreign investment enterprise and the private enterprise; As for nationality of the trade, the trade surplus continues to expand between China and the U.S.A, China and the Europe; As for the approaches of competition, they focus on the price and the quantity of the export merchandise; As for the projects of the trade, the China's trade surplus mainly comes form the goods trade surplus, and the Trade in Services has been suffering trade deficit for several years.The second part of this thesis summarized the reasons of China's huge foreign trade surplus. At first, it analyzes the reasons theoretically, it uses two relative indexes to analyze the issue, the ratio of the trade surplus and the amount of imports and exports and the ratio of the trade surplus and GDP. And it analyzes the harm to China's economy comes form the traditional mercantile system. It summarizes the international reasons of the huge foreign trade surplus. The development of the economical globalization is the important reason of the China's huge foreign trade surplus. The price of the large amount merchandise in the world market has been rising continually, so it slows the development of the China's ordinary trade, and stimulates the growth of these merchandise. The industry shift from some countries in the Asia indirectly expands China's foreign trade surplus.
