A Research On The Internal Controls Of Chinese Commercial Banks

Finance plays a core role in the modern society and national economics. The commercial banks, which are the backbone of the finance industry, have great influence on it. From the 1980s, there came more and more bank crisis, which mostly has some relationship with invalid internal control. In Chinese commercial banks, many unsafe factors are now in existence and threatening the bank system so much as the whole financial system. Especially, there are super financial bank cases frequently. The internal control of Chinese banks should be paid great attention to improve the management and decrease the venture of commercial backs. During this thesis, we will first do some research on internal control of commercial banks. Then, a case will be introduced to find the faulty factor in national commercial banks. At last, the suggestion of improving the internal control will be proposed.There are six chapters in the thesis. The first chapter will be the exordium. In the second chapter, the theory and development of oversea commercial banks'internal control are introduced. The internal control of Chinese commercial banks is introduced and studied in chapter three. During chapter four, a case will be proposed. The defect of internal control in this case is going to be analyzed. With the basis of analyses above, chapter five will give a suggestion of improving the internal control in Chinese commercial banks.The innovation of this thesis will be as: a case is proposed and analyzed. Through analyses, the defect of national commercial banks'internal control is studied. To improve the internal control of national commercial banks,the suggestion is gained: The enhancement of innovating internal framework,and the cooperation of internal control along with external supervision.
