The enhancement of enterprises'technology innovation (ETI) capability not only helps enterprises increase its core competence to adapt to the changeful environment, but also helps our country to increase its national competence to meet the economy globalization. In order to enhance ETI capability, enterprises should build well TI system, increase the TI resource and be active in TI activities, at the same time, it is essential for the government to play a role of leading, make effective policies and build good environment. Therefore, it is necessary for the national science and technology management department to collect and study on ETI-related data, cases and policies in order to know the current situation and trend of ETI, discover the gap in ETI between our country and advanced countries and sum up native and foreign experiences in ETI. In this thesis, Enterprises'Technology Innovation Data Management Information System (ETIDMIS)'s analysis, design and implement are researched under the support of the National Ministry of Science and Technology's project ETI International Comparison Database (ETIICD).Firstly, some basic concepts and characteristics of management information system are introduced briefly. Based on the analysis and comparison of several kinds of system structures and developing methods, the structure and developing method of ETIDMIS are chosen. Secondly, the system analysis and design are finished using the SDLC and prototyping methods. In the part of system analysis, the objects, requirements, data and data flows of ETIDMIS and its 3 sub-systems (Native ETI Data Management, Foreign ETI Data Management and Data Comparison & Analysis) are analyzed. In the part of system design, some design-related questions are studied including design principles, functional module design and database design (including conceptual design, logical design and physical design). Finally, the situation of the implement and test running of ETIDMIS are introduced, including database building, programming, testing and the configuration of running platform. The ETIDMIS, as parts of the research achievements of ETIICD, is now in the test-running phase and has been generally approbated by related department.
