A Framework For Integrated Construction Supply Chain Management

With the development of info technique, construction industry has being required more. So having the synthesis predominance on capital, management and intelligence in big corporations and core competence in small corporations are required. As far as our country's construction industry goes, in order to overtake the foreign corporations as well as studying from them, it is significant to reform our construction industry. Base on these reasons involved, the frame of construction supply chain management (CSCM, Construction Supply Chain Management) is introduced in the thesis.Established on the whole construction industry, the thesis analyses the feature of putting CSCM in practice. According to SCM theory, CSCM should emphasize on two parts. One is supplier management which includes supplier selecting, purchase and warehouse management. The other one is customer relationship management which provides the customer information and contract management as well as call center and e-message management system. With the practice of CSCM, the conflict and risk will be reduced, and the whole construction industry will run more efficiently.Concerning the thesis's skeleton, at first, the framework of CSCM has been introduced briefly which includes the feature and the compositions of CSCM framework. Then, in supplier management, supplier selecting, eligible supplier management, purchase and warehouse management have been analyzed mainly. At last, the customer relationship management and the e-message system of the whole CSCM has been discussed.
