Risk Management Of Logistics Outsourcing

At the uncertain times, the enterprises have some risks in logistics outsourcing management such as mistakes in decision-making, staff resistance or inadequate controls over outsourcing and etc. They will have a great effect on the operation, even result in bankrupt. Therefore, it is a new focus of the academe and the enterprise that having the sense of risk in logistics outsourcings management, regarding it as an important component of enterprise's logistics outsourcings management and exploring the risk management mode actively.Based on predecessors' studies, the thesis makes systematical research on the risk management of logistics outsourcing. The contents of the thesis include:(1) The logistics outsourcing risks in the enterprises. On the theory of risk management in enterprise, this paper points out the certain risks in logistics outsourcing and the meaning of risk management of logistics outsourcings, and design a program of risk management.(2) Identifying logistics outsourcing risks in enterprises. Based on various standards, the logistics outsourcing risks in the enterprises were classified; then the methods identifying logistics outsourcing risks are put forwards, which are the questionnaire, the financial report, the environment analysis, the record analysis of the loss count.(3) Evaluating the logistics outsourcing risks in the enterprises. Meanwhile the risks are evaluated by the technological means with expert's assessment, model of fuzzy comprehensive assessment, Markov mode assessment, table analysis, probability theory and mathematical statistical analysis.(4) The control mechanism of the logistics outsourcing risks in the enterprises. Based on the analysis of the organization structures, it is found that the matrix type beneficial to risk management and suggested that the enterprises establish the control mechanism by setting up the special risk organization or manager. At the same time, five common Risk management strategies are put forward, including risk avoidance, risk provenance, risk elimination, risk undertaken by itself, risk transfer. Finally it is proposed that a series of basic tactics and concrete measures of the risk management in enterprise's logistics outsourcing.
