With the rapid development of China auto industry, found local brands and self R&D became very important, then the question came out which China auto industry had to face and solve: How to found? Which innovation mode should China local brands choose? Using the strategic of"use market exchange technology"since 20centry 90s, almost all auto industry giants over the world in"6+3"mode had founded single venture or joint venture company in China, how about China local brands? Which innovation mode should China local brands choose to increase core competitive strength? The writer was considering these questions during practicing in an auto management consultant company, and accumulated lots of resources for the thesis. This thesis bases on status and research of China local brands, through creating choose module base on economy evaluate of innovation mode, disuses the innovation of China local brands. With the case study on market leader of domestic local brands– Chery at last, writer predicts the direction of local brands'future development This thesis has five components:First chapter expatiates the research background, raise the question, object and route base on the reference which has been induces, summarizes, arranges, comments Second chapter introduces the status of China local brands innovation, concludes and researches on local brands characteristic, and provide detail data for Chapter three to analysis reason. During the introduction of innovation status, the thesis deeply introduces innovation status in different segments which is classified by American way Third chapter analyses the reason of local brands innovation status in ways of macroscopic and microsmic. Microsmic part mainly study value chain of auto industry, and uses the advanced methods which companies employing during the process.Forth chapter is the keystone. Through creating choose module base on economy evaluate of innovation mode, provide guidance for local brands future development in theory level. In this chapter, writer deeply researches the mode can be chosen, and classifies & studies the strength and weakness of different modes, then analyst all aspects factors which can effect mode chosen, deeply researches the affection degree of different mode, finally found choose mode base on economy evaluate of innovation mode. This mode is founded in theory, forward demonstration and study are needed.Fifth chapter is the case study of local brand company—Chery Auto's self innovation.
