The Research On Impetus Mechanism Of Small Cities And Towns Development Of Yangtze River Delta

It is a practical way that tallies with the actual situation of China to turn the villages into small cities and towns in china. Our country has been in rapid urbanization period. As one of developed region in china, the position of small cities and towns become more significant in Yangtze River Delta. With the development of economy globalization,economy transformation in china and regiona integration,the impetus mechanism of small cities and towns have changed greatly.Economy and government are the determining factors of town development. Economy is the source of towns development, policies and impetus mechanism are supported by government.This paper confines its research field to the Yangtze River Delta .Its firstly makes analyses of the present conditions, characteristics and negative influences of small cities and towns development and then investigates into its source of motive and existing problems. Finally ,this paper brings up its active countermeasures on how advance steadily the towns development in the Yangtze River Delta.The first chapter illustrates the necessity of target of making such a study. After an explanation of the related concepts, this chapter defines the major types, features and components of the impetus mechanism of small cities and towns, which lays a foundation for the following argumentation.The second chapter mainly looks back theories about relevant study of small cities and towns in the world.Ttis chapter analyses these theories to provide experience and revelation for this thesis.The third chapter analyses general situation,spatial character and the problems of development ,according to unitary development of towns in Yangtze River Delta.The fourth chapter serves as one of the main parts of this thesis.This chapter analyses the related factors of impetus mechanism of small cities and towns development to provide experience for the fifth chapter.The fifth chapter provide the expectations of small sities and towns development in region,spatial character,industry and policies.
