With the development of information science and the advancement of electronic technology, E-business has become the main trend for the development of future enterprises. Therefore, the traditional and simple management patterns of enterprises need to be broken so as to build strategic and dynamic alliance with external enterprises.The evaluation and selection of vendors is the basis of strategic supply chain management. And the performance of partners affects the operation of the enterprise greatly. For example, response, product quality, lead time, storage level, quantity discount, and product designing etc., will influence enterprises' benefit. In order to realize the objectives of lower-cost, perfect quality, flexibility and quick response, enterprises should evaluate and choose vendors by scientific methods.At first, this paper reviews the related literatures in recent years and generalizes the actuality of vendors' cooperative relationship. Based on the analysis of traditional evaluation methods and operation efficiency the merits and the drawbacks of DEA (Date Envelopment Analysis) are introduced. Meanwhile, the feasibility of the method is also illustrated in this paper. Secondly, the weaknesses of the traditional evaluation indexes of vendors' selection are analyzed, and then with the combination of Empirical Study and Theoretical Study, the new evaluation indexes of vendors' selection under the circumstance of E-business are established. At last, a case study based on company D is given to test the feasibility of the method as well as the evaluation index system. Undoubtedly, the result illustrates that such research will be proved useful for the evaluation and selection of vendors.
