Mass Customization is a production model which can provide products to customers whatever quantities they want. The cost and response speed under MC is lower than that under mass production. Flexibility is the system's ability to adapt to environmental changes. And production flexibility can be seen as a measure of the ability that a production system adapts to market changes to meet customer demand. In order to achieve high efficiency production and Low-cost manufacturing in implementing mass customization, the flexible production process is necessary.On the basis of current research of production flexibility, this paper analyzes the flexible production under MC from three aspects. Firstly, the paper begins with the brief introduction of resources integration and its content, process and implementation. According to the logic relationship of resources and ability, we get a model analyzing the flexibility of production system under MC. And the method about how to realize this model is also given out. Secondly, the paper studies on the problem of production scheduling, a combination decision model of scheduling rules based on simulation is presented for multi-objective problems of job shop scheduling. The scheme group is first obtained using simulation for different combination of scheduling rules. The weight of performance target for manufacturing system is derived with the application of analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The conjunction coefficient of every scheme within the group for the single performance index is then computed. It provides the optimizing scheduling rule to resolve the traditional application problem. Finally, the question about the customer orders options flexibly is discussed. We put an objective model based on customer satisfaction which researches on the options of customer orders under MC. The model changes a factor in customer satisfaction with the pack into measurable amount. Using scheme evaluation based on grey relational analysis, enterprises can choose the optimal production. The method has been tested in this paper, providing some means for enterprises to realize MC.
