Many new characteristics about market competition are presented along with theacceleration of economy globalization and integration, that is, speeding up thedevelopment of new product、increasing individuation, and uncertainty of customerrequirement, stricter request for delivery time. The customer more and more hope to getto the product with high quality and cheap price, at the same time that to meet thepersonalized demands of customers. In order to achieve this purpose, the production ofthe products not only contain mass production mode to get rather low cost andhigh-efficiency but also satisfy the customer’s diversity character with customizationproduction. A new production mode Mass Customization (referred to as the MC) hascombined with the advantages of the two kinds of mode of production which includecustomization production and mass production. Many business enterprise executives andscholars pay more attention to this point of view when it appeared.In the face of the shock of this new market environment, E company takes initiativeto reform and change to adapt to the challenges of the market. This paper is mainly basedon the mass customization as the object of research. The paper analyzes the keytechnologies and key technologies of production management of the flexible productdesign in this mode, as the application of mass customization mode by the research ofcommunication DC power industry, as well as the reference of E enterprises deepens themass customization mode.This paper puts forward the concrete implementation solutions for masscustomization which has combined with the characteristics of communication DC poweron the basis of summarized review of the theory of mass customization. The solutionsmainly include the following ten aspects: In order to implement the mass customization,this paper considers that the organizational structure should be reformed, to improve itsresponsiveness and execution; to cover the demands of customization by using theflexible design of the product family, to accelerate delivery period and improve thequality; to optimize the development model, to add flexible design to the development ofstandard products, to develop the spare parts with standardization; to enhance the planning of product platform, to offer the strong support to the design of the productfamily; to design the spare parts by the method of taking the distribution region modulardesign; to strengthen the data management of the product lifecycle; to develop flexibleconfiguration unit of the product in order to improve the operation efficiency of theMarketing Department; to instruct the flexible production by combining the method of alocation number with standard process; the manufacture production selects the methodwhich combines ATO with JIT to improve efficiency and reduce the inventory; toestablish evaluation index system for suppliers, to build a strategic cooperativepartnership with suppliers and to implement OEM mode into the excellent suppliers.
