Terms of trade is an important indicator of the change of a country's international trade benefit,which has been an important topic of morden international economics,and whose change is deeply concerned by every country. The purpose of this dissertation is to reveal the main affecting factors of China's terms of trade as well as the effect of terms of trade on international trade benefit and put forward some scientific and rational policy recommendations on how to improve China's terms of trade and get more international trade benefit by carrying out the theoretical and empirical analysis of the changes in China's terms of trade.This dissertation firstly discusses the relationship between the terms of trade and international trade benefit on the basis of introducing various terms of trade and defining the nature of international trade,and then points out that"terms of trade deterioration theory"is not incompletely suitable to the analysis of developing countries'terms of trade,because it infers international benefit by sole the net barter terms of trade,neglects the dynamic international benefit and the impact of foreign-invested enterprises on the net barter terms of trade.Then the author analyzes empirically China's terms of trade from 1981,and the causes of the change in the net barter terms of trade by means of regression analysis ,which can be quantitied.we get the results that China's net barter terms of trade had a declining trend while its income terms and factorial terms of trade had been improved,and the net barter terms of trade positively correlates with actual tariff rate,exchange rate and negatively correlates with GDP,besides,the factors which can not be quantitied such as pure price fighting,inappropiate tariff sytem,foreign-invested enterprises's tranfer pricing and region trade agreement also lead to the above trend of China's net barter terms of trade,and the change in China's net barter terms of trade had a neglect impact on international trade benefit.At last,based on the study of the environment of the change in China's net barter terms of trade,the auther points out that relatively low stage of industrialization,increasingly slight possibility of trade restrictive policies,the...
