Study On The Financing Problems Of The Small And Medium-sized Shipping Company In China

As the establishment of marketing economic system and the improvement of modern business institution, some large-sized shipping companies achieve their finance from the national and international market. Meanwhile, many small and medium-sized shipping companies fall into difficult position due to their lack of investment, which lead to lots of problems such as: old ships, lack of surplus tonnage and so on. So it is high time we learned the ship finance, especially the research about efficiency of different financing patterns. Financing problems are influenced by many factors including politics, economy , financing market, shipping market and the inner environment of companies, so it is necessary for small and medium-sized shipping companies to choose their financing way deliberately.The paper mainly discusses the characteristics and patterns of ship finance for small and medium-sized shipping companies. Then it makes a quantitative analysis on the efficiency of ship finance by the method of Fuzzy. Finally based on the consideration of government, financing organization and the whole shipping circles, this paper gives some practical measures that small and medium-sized shipping companies should take for their reference.
