The Study On Some Issues Of Private Investment Fund In China

The private securities investment fund, that is called the hedge fund in the US, has been a new investment tool with great popularity. It has brought profound changes to the way and idea of conducting financial investment activities, and even the global financial system. It also has been playing an important role in the modern capital market.With the development of the capital market in China, especially the stock market, a number of private securities investment funds have grown steadily. By virtue of its flexible investment and withdrawal modes, relatively high investment gain and secrecy, and effective manipulation, it has attracted many investors. The securities market was once shocked by such a magnitude as high as RMB 9000 million Yuan, which attracted the attention from security circle and the market. However, private securities investment fund, with its non-openness, lacking of protection and supervision by the law, has brought not only something new but also some unrest into the stock market.There are four sections in this thesis. Chapter one, definition and general introduction of private securities investment fund, introduces the concept of private securities investment fund, it's characteristics compared with publicly offered fund, organizational forms, ways of distributing profits. Chapter two, summarize the history process and development trend of USA, then summarizes some lessons worthy to China. Chapter three discusses the practice of the private securities investment fund in China including its implications, current status. The last chapter discusses the main problems for private securities investment fund and the importance in regulated development of private securities investment fund in China, presents a series of practical ways of management, and some suggestions for the development of the private securities investment fund.
