Small and medium enterprises play a very important role in Chinese economy as they have taken up a great proportion of our national economy. However, lives of these enterprises are short and usually a high rate of bankruptcy simply kicks them out of the field at the beginning period. Through a research into different cases, this thesis tries to analyze the common debut crises facing these small and medium enterprises at the beginning period in China, including product crisis, management crisis, profit crisis, diversification crisis and the characteristics respectively, and it is based on the enterprise growing theory which involves the lifecycle of enterprises as the core. Furthermore, this thesis identifies the following factors as direct reasons inducing the above crises: neglect of production development, lack of eligible authorization, lack of a detailed accounting cost system, and improper strategies. Moreover, with referring to the characteristics of the small and medium enterprises at this period, the thesis provides a thorough and systematic analysis into the ultimate inducements from the perspectives of strategy, managerial behavior and innovator behaviors.In conclusion, this thesis puts forth the following solutions, such as a clear orientation, transfer of leadership system and solidification of creative factors for the purpose of continuous development. Considering the limited managerial resources, small and medium enterprises should solve the problems which have induced the debut crises in a systematic and effective way in order to build up a suitable management mode and thus develop into next phase successful and safely.
