Research On Inventory Optimizing Policy Based On Supply Chain Environment

With the changes of enterprise structure and management mode, more requires and new characteristics exit in Supply Chain Management, compared with the traditional method of inventory management. In SCM, inventory control has a great effect on customer server levels, the total supply chain cost and the quality of this supply chain. Therefore, it has a great meaning to study the problem of inventory cost control in the supply chain management. The most works are presented in the following five aspects i.e.The dissertation is divided into five parts. The first part gives an illustration of research background, meaning and main content. The second part mainly introduces the theory of inventory control. Based on the overseas and domestic study on inventory, the inventory control policy, especially the one in supply chain management is reviewed and analyzed from the qualitative and quantitative aspects, and also from three layers of research object, research modeling and research content in the third part. This part mainly focuses on the issue of modeling and simulating for a three-stage inventory system in a supply chain environment under uncertain demand through WITNESS 2003 computer simulating technology. In a three-echelon supply chain composed of multi-supplier, one-assembler, one-distribution centre that is transferred from multi-supplier, one-assembler, multi-distributor is established in the forth part. Under the continuous inventory review control policy, by synthesizing logistics costs including inventory cost, order cost, transportation cost, shortage cost, a service level per cost model for inventory system in supply chain environment under certain service level provided by the dealers is established. Hence model maximization problem is simulating and analyzing by which the optimal ordering quantities and ordering critical point are determined. In the end, this dissertation is summarized and further research directions are shown.
