Reform and Open Policy in 1978 is a watershed in Chinese international trade history. Import substitution is the dominate strategy before the reform, which is switched into an open policy after 1978. Trade stands in a tiny position in the former period and turned to a significant one in the later decades. This article has finished ADF tests, Granger casualty tests, and co integration tests with export and GDP year's data of 1952-1978 and 1979-2005 independently, which lead to export's contribution to economical growth.
