With the private economy developed for almost 30 years, the percentage contribution of the private businesses is more than 60% to the GDP, and the private enterprises pour into the fresh vigor for the socialist marketing economy and have gradually become the important part of socialist marketing economy and the main impetus for rising of the state's economy. After China's entering into WTO, facing the tidal wave of economic globalization, Chinese private businesses are confronting with how to walk out to keep the pace with the global economy better,and how to expand the market share further and to find the disadvantages themselves on the platform of the international trade. From the demands for both the objective environment of globalization of the world economy and the domestic reform of the economic system point of view, the private businesses in China initiate into the second time of venture and the big period of regulation.For this reason, from the viewpoint of the competitiveness of private economy, both the ideas and channels for upgrading competitiveness of Chinese private businesses are explored under the economic globalization. Through the analysis of upgrading competitiveness of Chinese private economy, the corporate should, on one hand, according to the intrinsic requests for the marketing mechanism, from the beginning of hardware resources in a business, create the competitiveness in product cost, national brand, comparative advantage, merger & acquisition and independent technology innovation etc; on the other hand, from the starting of software wealth in an organization, the enterprises should foster the core competitiveness in the management of talented personnel, business culture and honesty trust etc. In addition, from the view of a business externally, improvement of competitiveness of private enterprises is also given attention to the traditional culture in society and the series of rules arrangement of government.The conclusions herein is that with the private economy regarded as the barometer of socialist marketing economy, its conditions of growth reflect the degree of maturity and perfection of socialist marketing economy from one side face. The private businesses, from the start of the date to be born, have characteristics with the clear property right, taking upon oneself risk, the flexible mechanism and the better suitability of market etc, and have the powerful compatibility and consistency with the background on globalization. Meanwhile, we should also note that, lifting the competitiveness of the private enterprises in China could not only rely on for the private business oneself to settle, but also for both the governmental bodies and academic institutes to play a very important role.
