Perspective Of Ecological Folklore: Study On Taixing Ginkgo Folklore

This thesis adopts the theory of Ecological Folklore which is just starting to expand lately. Firstly, the thesis discusses about the new theory and then put it into the later study of Taixing Ginkgo Folklore. Secondly, it deeply looks into the basic but most important reasons for the formation of Taixing Ginkgo Folklore; Thirdly, with the perspective of Ecological Folklore, it analyzes the content of Taixing Ginkgo Folklore, which mainly focuses on its producing customs, living customs and mental folklore; Lastly, it argues about the content, philosophical source and practical functions of its ecological spirits. Based on the comprehensive analysis of Taixing Ginkgo Folklore and the study of material produce and mental life of the local people in Taixing, I hope the thesis could possibly offer any suggestion to the local economy and culture developments regarding to Folklore.
