At the present time, logistics development strategies have been published in all the provinces and central city of district. Developing logistics have been elevated to strategic height. The regional government hope that with the development of logistics, the other industries will benefit. The fixed assets invest and infrastructure in logistics industries will come to a new increase. But the increase is too fast, so that will result in the imbalance between logistics supply and demand. To solve the problem, we have to do some logistics demand analysis. At the present time, there is no mature method effectively analyzing logistics demand. So the study emphasizes on beijing inhabitant consumption , mainly on the impact of inhabitant consumption and population distribution to the logistics demand.Guided by logistics theory and thought method, through massive practical investigation, the dissertation seriously researches the relationship between inhabitant consumption and logistics demand on the basis of region economics, population geography , inhabitant consumption . Firstly this article introduces research actuality at home and abroad and narrates fundamental research achievement. On the basis of remarks, the relationship between inhabitant consumption and logistics demand is analyzed from two aspects: on one hand, the article studies inhabitant consumption with ELES. The correlation of inhabitant consumption and logistics demand is analyzed by statistics software. Then we get the impact of inhabitant consumption to logistics demand both in quality and quantity. On the other hand, the article starts from population distribution in beijing, analyzes the impact of population distribution trend to the logistics demand. At last, the large logistics structure in beijing is taken as the example to illustrate the above conclusion.
