Research On The Development Mode Of The Port Group In Bohai Sea Region Based On Industrial Cluster Theory

At present, three port groups that are located in three economic areas of China are coming into being. The three port groups that are respectively sat from south to north are Pearl River Delta region port group, Yangtse River Delta region port group and Bohai region port group. Among the three port groups, the port groups of Pearl River Delta region and Yangtse River are more advanced than the one of Bohai region in terms of economy, functional layout and cooperation of port cluster, and economic contribution from port industry to local economy. The reason why Bohai region port group is not so advanced as Pearl River Delta region and Yangtse River Delta, is mainly caused by the ineffective planning and cooperation among the ports of Bohai region port group, even worse, the cut-throat competition among those ports lead to economic resources internal friction in the region and lots of business flowing away to Pusam port of Korea, which is the main competitor of Bohai port. The present economic situation badly damage the overall competitiveness, and is unfavorable for the enterprises of the port to make region brand and step into the globalization development.This thesis mainly analyzes the development actuality of the port, logistics and other enterprises in the three port groups in Bohai sea region. Introducing the industrial cluster theory combined of the actuality to demonstrate the necessity of the port enterprises developing the industrial cluster mode in Bahai sea region, learning from the advanced experience of conformity development of the domestic and foreign partial port groups and the domestic similar industries to demonstrate the feasibility of the port enterprises developing the industrial cluster mode, and to probe into a new type of cluster developing mode which is fit for the enterprises in Bohai sea Region. By means of the external economics and low exchange costs of the enterprises in cluster, and the innovation effect produced by the cluster mode, port clusters and port industry clusters will be formed based on the developing mode in Bohai sea region, which will speed the integrative development of Bohai sea regional economy finally.
