Along with the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and the development of the State recognition, more and more software companies have been paying attention to the medium-sized enterprises. So it speeds up the development of informationization of the medium-sized enterprises. However, due to the nonstandardization in the management of small and medium-sized enterprises, even though the similar enterprises, the internal processes are completely different, so it is difficult to manage them with a kind of universal management software. So it is necessary to develop different systems according to the different enterprises. But the traditional function-oriented development method has been hard to adapt to the complex and volatile demands, so it is particularly important to develop the method of the Object-oriented and reusable software, it can solve this problem efficiently.Design pattern as the result of Object-oriented, has developed a set of rules to describe how to solve the changeable demands problem in the area of software development. Compare to other software development methods, design pattern can better adequate to the problem for repeated emergence of reusing the architecture design.First, this paper analyses the characteristics of MIS facing to the small and medium-sized enterprises. By analyzing some current software development methods, then finally select the developing method based on the design pattern; Secondly, it use the UML object-oriented modeling methods to complete the entire modeling by the static and dynamic modeling from demand analysis to detailed design, and enable the process of demand analysis and the development process more closely together; Finally, analyses the store management subsystem's designing layers according to the previous demands model and illustrate the widely application of access control model, template model and the Observer Method in various layers development.
