Based on the reading related literatures home and aboard, this paper uses the competitive advantage theory as guidance to analyze the inside and outside environment of Linyi tourism with a combination of qualitative and quantitative SWOT analysis. It tries hard to analyze the exterior and microscopic environment which Linyi tourism faces and puts forward the corresponding countermeasure proposal.This paper contains four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, including the significance of the study, the research methodology, the technical Review and the review of the literature. Chapter II describes the development of Linyi tourism and the regional economic and social development. It reveals Linyi tourism economy is the key radiation. SWOT analysis method is used in Chapter III to show that the external and internal tourism development has a direct impact on their environment ring. For the analysis of the objective factors, matrix were used to EFE, IFE matrix evaluation.Chapter four is the conclusion of this paper. On the basis of a detailed analysis on the internal and external environmental factors of the Linyi tourism development, it uses the SWOT model, namely (Strengths), inferior (Weakness), Development opportunities (Opportunities), and the challenges facing (Threats) to match the real situation to make the competitive strategic choices. It also gives the feasibility of the development of Linyi tourism corresponding with the challenges and weaknesses of Linyi tourism.
