Analysis On The Influence Of RMB Revaluation To Using Of FDI

Utilization of foreign investment is the one of the greatest practices of opening-up and socialist modernization construction in China .In the early days of 21st century, the economy of FDI plays an important role in China's economy. FDI can not only promote the sustainable development of our economy, but also transform economic growth mode and improve the quality of our economy .In the meantime, it also brought some negative influence on the our economy .In July of 2005,to comply with the trend of economic development and lighten the pressure from the inside and outside of our country, People's bank of China initiated reform on the RMB exchange rate forming mechanism. After that, the exchange rate has been in the slow upward process. And in the coming years, upward pressure will keep for a long time. The revaluation will strike our using of foreign direct investment in some extent.This article is based on the analysis of FDI and the upward trend of RMB, and detailed analyzes the effects of RMB revaluation on the quantity, regional resource and structure of using FDI. Then, we get one point that: RMB revaluation will mitigate the appeal of our country to FDI, and decline the increasing velocity of FDI; Another point: RMB revaluation will benefit the optimizing industrial structure of FDI, promote the FDI flow into tertiary industry, and advance the development of tertiary industry.In the end, it advances the measures and advices about how to use FDI by analyzing the influence of RMB revaluation to our using of FDI and the present developmental tendency of international direct investment.
