| The hotel industry is one of the most modernized and international industries in China. From the beginning, it used the growth models and advanced experience of foreign hotel enterprises management for reference. This brought the backward advantage for the development of China's hotel industry. Along with the deepening of its open-door policy and sustained growth of economy, China's position is established as tourism giant in Asia and Pacific area. China's international tourism is keeping on a favorable developing tendency, which provides a favorable environment for Chinese hotel industry.Under this situation that transnational operation for hotel is emerging in China, and scholars are conducting relative studies. On the basis of summarizing and generalizing the existing theories on transnational operation patterns of multinational corporations, the study selects two representative international famous hotel groups, Accor in Europe and Carlson in America as subject investigated, and analyses their transnational operation patterns. The study intends to enrich and consummate the transnational operation patterns theory of hotel, at the same time integrates its theories and practices.The study is based on relative theories of transnational operation, makes use of many methods, such as demonstration and specs analysis, history review and compare analysis, theory and policy study, and so on. Following analyzing Accor and Carlson's transnational operation practices, the study arrives at the revelations of hotels' transnational operation. Then, combining with the analysis and opinions about the current situation of Chinese hotels' transnational operation, the study points out the problems and reasons, and puts forward some countermeasures and advices for Chinese hotel group using international famous hotel groups' experiences for reference. |
