| Middle and small enterprises (MSEs) are cells and microcosm-positions of the market. They decide whether the market is competitive, and can provide the opportunities to develop social intelligence and resources. They are also the mail body of the innovation of science and technology, so they play a big role in the development of science and technology through continuing exploring and trying. Now the relation between the supply and demand in our country's market has changed. Many industrial products have changed from the selling side to the buying side. Facing the pressure,MSEs feel the survival environment more and more deteriorative. One effective way to solve the problem is to prompt the cluster of these enterprises.The studies on industrial clusters mainly research how space agglomeration brings competitive advantages to related enterprises, including regional innovation mechanism,extemal economy, cost saving effect, regional marketing effect and so on. Promoting technological innovation is the core origin from competitive advantages of industrial clusters. Technological innovation is important resources of enterprises making profit and is basic motive factor to economic growth. One main subject of the research on industrial clusters is the relation between clusters and technological innovation. The strategy of industrial clusters has been an innovative form to prompt the economical development of the region.Industrial clusters have innovative advantages. In the past, most studies focus on the technological innovation mechanism of big-sized enterprises, but few are about MSEs. Analyzing the characters, effective factors and mechanism about technological innovation of MSEs in the clusters can help us to grasp the rules of industrial clusters'development, widen the angle of research on industrial clusters and technological innovation, and find a more efficient way to prompt competitive advantages of MSEs in the clusters.The paper were form the angle of the cross-course, applied the frontier theory of regional economics, technical economics, development economics, industry economics, enterprise management science, technological innovation and so on, based on the summing-up and carrying-forward of the research on industrial clusters and technological innovation of the predecessors, combined the specific analysis with empirical analysis, comprehensive analysis with case analysis, and then choose the title and illustrated some innovative views. The paper started from illustrating the meaning of the MSEs cluster. It comprehended the summary of all the scholars, and gave the definition: in the area of owing some specific advantages, making core of one main industry, MSEs which communicate with each other heavily agglomerate in the geographic space, to low the cost price, gain the innovative ability and form the development model which has powerful and competitive advantages.There exists dialectical relationship between industrial cluster and technological innovation: industrial cluster benefits to technological innovation and technological innovation promotes industrial clusters' development. Technological innovation can be used to develop new product and new market, bring high profit to enterprises and change industrial structure. Benefits motivation of technological innovation quickens the industrial agglomeration. The regional advantages of industrial clusters will speed up the process of technological innovation, and the supply of technological innovation will accelerate the industrial clusters. At the same time, the industrial clusters put forward new demands for technological innovation.The paper studied the case from home textiles in clusters in Nantong, applied above theory and method, systemically analyzed the main characters and existent problems in the development of technological innovation of the clusters, and put forward some corresponding countermeasures from three aspects: microcosmic level of enterprises, environment of industrial clusters and regional administration. |
