Shaanxi Weihe Chemical Industry and Science and Technology Corporation (Weihe Chemical Corporation for short), founded in 2000, is a hi-tech and dense knowledge enterprise which is invested by both Weihe Coal Chemical Group and Association of Stockholder of its staff members. Its main business is about the research, development, production and sales service of CWM( coal water mixture) additive. Since it was founded, we haven't made detail investigation and scientific prediction for its outer macrostructure circumstance, trade competition, especially the rapid development of newly coal chemical industry based on Texico Gasification of Coal Water Mixture, rapid increasing of CWM additive market and its developing trend, which leads to plural and blind development. Therefore, we couldn't form and define the market competition strategies of this leading product-CWM additive. As a result, this product lacks lasting and competitive superiority under the circumstance of rapid increasing market and fierce competition, which leads to the resource isn't suited to outside situations, the ability of making profits decreases. Because of this, this study is mainly about the competitive strategies of CWM additive in Weihe Chemical Corporation.Through thorough investigations of present market situations and developing trend of CWM and CWM additive in China, the writer carefully analyzes the whole countries' CWM additive market referring to the theory of Market Analysis and the Choice of Target Market and decides the target market which Weihe Chemical Corporation should take part in new type CWM additive market. After detail analyzing and researching of the outside circumstance, esp. trade competition and inter resources, the writer finds out both outside chance and threat and inside advantages and disadvantages of the Corporation. At the same time, he fixes the location and makes the choice for CWM additive market competitive strategies. Finally, he concludes the strategies of low production cost and leading competition while some related and ensuring measures and resources are put forward.Although this study only resolves the problems of market competition strategies of CWM additive in Weihe Chemical Corporation, those similar medium and small-sized enterprises can use it for reference on how to set up their competitive strategies scientifically.
