The reform of the electric power system titled "separate factory and net, competitive bidding" is under way in our country, and the electric power market of generate electricity side is forming and perfect gradually. To follow the situation of reform, fire power stations have to build up a set of viable decision support system for competitive bidding to provide the basis of decision for competition in the electric power market.This text firstly introduced the definition, characteristics, types and trading modes of electric power market, analyzing the working mechanism and trading process of the day-ahead trading market in the electric power market, and putting forward the overall thoughts of the decision support system for competitive bidding in the day-ahead trading market. Then, the article studies the competent of cost for generation electricity in the fire power station, and discusses the relationship of various costs and loads one by one. The author simplifies the day-ahead load consumed cost to the coal and water consumed cost, and calculates the consumed cost by the anti-equilibrium method. The body of this article forecasts the day-ahead load consumed cost of the power generation units in fire power stations by the economic curve model which is fitting with history data on the base of the calculating method of the day-ahead load consumed cost. Directing at the actual circumstances of general fire power station having many set units, the text takes the SQP method to realize the day-ahead load dispatch between the units, predicting the day-ahead load optimal consumed cost in the fire power stations, and constructing the model for competitive bidding based on the cost.In the end, the article carries on imitating by the model. With the history economic data of three set units, the article has fitted the economic curve on the base of the planning load curve of some fire power station. The load dispatch and total consumed cost of units under different day-ahead load is fixed. Therefore, the curve of bidding the price of the day-ahead trading market is formed, which verities its feasibility and pointes out the advantages of this system and brings forward some suggestions on improvement.
