Empirical Study And Counter Measures Analysis For Foreign Antidumping Against China

China is facing more and more trade friction since its reform and opening, especially recent years, along with China's rapid foreign trade growth. Now China has entered a fastigium on trade friction. Among various kind of trade friction, antidumping is the most protrudent. According to the statistic, China has been encountered maximum antidumping investigations for 11 years. Therefor, it has great significance for the rising China to study deeply on foreign antidumping towards China.This paper studies the general situation of foreign antidumping towards China in detail and makes detailed demonstration on various infuencing factors for the antidumping issue on the basis of the relevant trade-friction theories. The author introduces factor analysis and regression estimate in particular to discuss the empirical measure for the issue of foreign antidumping towards China, thereby establishing a empirical model for foreign antidumping towards China.In the process of study on the influencing factors for foreign antidumping towards China, such macroeconomic factors as export growth rate, trade surplus, export proportion to the world, foreign trade dependence, export price indices, export competitive indices, exchange rate, economic growth rate are chose to be analyzed comprehensively. An economic model is established to measure the factors that influence foreign antidumping towards China. The empirical results show that all the influencing fators come down to 3 main factors: trade competitiveness, trade increment and exchange rate; thereinto, the most important factor is export price indices for industrial products, and export proportion to the world, foreign trade dependence, exchange rate also have big influence to antidumping.On the basis of analysis and empirical study on the influencing factors, the paper studies the relevant stratigies on how to deal with antidumping, through both macro- and micro-aspect to discuss how to avoid antidumping effectively and give some advice.
