Antidumping is a popular issue in nowadays international trade. In the past decades of years, as the use of tariff has become far less frequently, many countries shifted to use antidumping to protect their domestic industries, which is allowed by WTO. The import antidumping process in China was started since the first antidumping case was registered in December 1997.This thesis started from the theories of dumping and antidumping, during the research of rationality of dumping and antidumping, Krugman's dumping model was developed and perfected, and was made to be a reasonable and effective instrument for researching dumping and antidumping. After deeply analyzing the economic meanings and economic effects, the conclusion of rationality was drawn, that is dumping and antidumping should be thought dialectically, and the countries encountering dumping should use antidumping correctly. During the empirical research of Chinese import antidumping, all the cases were collected and categorized to find the traits of Chinese import antidumping status in quo. Chinese import antidumping economic effects were analyzed through the typical cases. The problems in Chinese import antidumping were analyzed from the perspectives of"too much"and"not enough", and correspondingly, advices were put forward.
