A Research On The Development Of Guangxi Rural Credit Association

After 50 years of development, Guangxi rural credit association has devoted a lot to the development of Guangxi's economy and society, especially to the devebpment of agriculture, peasants and rural areas. However, many problems also arise and wait to be solved. They include, firstly, property right system reform dose not advance as well as people expected; secondly, the management structure is not in good shape; the third, the improvement of corporation management structure is backward relatively, the fourth, the operation is not in good condition; and, staff quality is difficulty to improve in a short time; moreover, the development of rural credit association is likely to rely on government supportBy analyzing the theory development of cooperative finance, and using the experience of foreign cooperative finance devebpment as reference, this report will probe the current situation of Guangxi rural credit association, then put forward an approach of cooperative system as the main choice for current development, to further define property right, straighten out management system, improve corporation management structure to speed up Guangxi rural credit association development.The report consists of six parts: the first, define the meaning, characteristics and advantages of cooperative finance, and have a structural analysis on it; the second, explain the forming and development of cooperative finance theory; thirdly, interpret the development experience of Guangxi rural credit association; fourthly, mainly analyze the current situation of Guangxi rural credit association development; the fifth, mainly explain the model and developing trend of foreign cooperative finance, and find out the useful enlightenment for Guangxi rural credit association development; and the six, explore how to speed up Guangxi rural credit association development under the actual conditions of Guangxi.
