A Comparative Study Of Ritual About Local God Of The Land Between Zhuang People And Tai People

Zhuang people in china and Tai people in Thailand are the"same original ethnic group". The ancient of Zhuang people and Tai people are Xi Ou people who belongs to the Bai Yue people in CHUN QIU ZHAN GUO period. TO Zhuang people and Tai people, Offering sacrifices to local god of the land is the common primitive religion belief .Both of these two ethnic groups believe local god of the land because they think local god of the land not only can protect villager and domestic animal's life but also can give bless and protect to crops . Zhuang people and Tai people have the same worship object and similar process of offering sacrifices.The research use a series of anthropology theories to make Comparative study of ritual about local god of the land between Zhuang people and Tai people , such as symbolic anthropology , functionalism anthropology and theories of great tradition and little tradition.
