Graduation thesis is a good opportunity for students major in economy ormanagement to have a deep research into a certain link or phenomenon inthe operation of the enterprises or market economy with their knowledgelearnt. Meanwhile, it also lays a strong foundation to their future practice insociety. As the most important as well as the last link in the bachelor-levelteaching, every university must enhance the management and supervisionof graduation thesis, training talents more effectively. This paper mainlyaims to research on the quality evaluation of bachelor graduation thesis ineconomy and management specialty. Its goal is to explore a scientific andreasonable method for quality evaluation of graduation thesis which couldbe use for reference by universities.This paper divides quality evaluation of thesis into static evaluation anddynamic evaluation. Static one, equivalent to result evaluation, means theevaluation of the form, content and other essential aspects of a finishedthesis. In this part, the research in paper is mainly based on the academyresults of previous scholars, looking into the points that previous researchdid not study in deep, establishing a modified inspection method for qualityevaluation of bachelor graduation thesis in economy and managementspecialty, aiming to supply a fast and effective method to supervisorypersonnel of thesis quality.Dynamic one, equivalent to process evaluation, is also the key part in thisresearch, which evaluates the quality of graduation thesis management ofthe school. This paper firstly focuses on and benchmarks several domesticuniversities, finding out some basic methods in these schools to themanagement of graduation thesis teaching. Then, through the somequestionnaires and further research on the following perspectives, thispaper gets some conclusions:(1) The thesis teaching is a service process that school and teachers offerto students. Among it, the process of teachers instruct students is onthe front line of the service, the quality level of it will directly affect the quality level of the service, that is quality of thesis. This research aimsto dig out some critical question and key points that exist in the processof the thesis instruction to improve this process, setting up an efficient,ordered and harmonious model of thesis instruction.(2) Using GAP model and SERVQUAL scale that are usually applied in thefield of service quality management, through the gap between students'perception and expectation of the teachers' instruction process toevaluate the quality of thesis instruction process. In this way, it caneasily and quickly find out the problems that exist in the process of theteachers instructing students and thus, to improve the quality of thesisteaching quality continuously.(3) From the respective of total quality management, the collaboration andefforts of each department and faculty are dispensable to the successof the task of graduation thesis teaching and to obtain a high qualitylevel which is really systematic and complicated. This paper suggestsschool should establish an efficient as well as fast evaluationmechanism and feedback mechanism of dynamic quality with lesspeople involved and sampling survey to find out the problems ingraduation thesis management and resolve them rapidly. The majorlinks include: construction of organization, construction of evaluationindex system, construction of teaching evaluation system, constructionof information management system and construction of communicationchannel.(4) From the respective of quality management, what we should focus isnot only the result quality of graduation thesis, but also its processquality. The research of static and dynamic quality is not isolated, butinterconnected and interactive. So, if the schools want to increase theteaching level and quality level of the graduation thesis as a whole, it isvery important to establish an evaluation system combining staticevaluation and dynamic evaluation as an integration.Finally, the paper suggest applying oversea advanced model of teachingquality management, that's the third party of evaluation organization, andISO 9000 quality management system to increase the bachelor graduation thesis quality in domestic universities.
