Study On Grassland Husbandry Sustainable Development In Etuoke Banner Of Inner Mongolia

This paper analyzed the history and present situation of the animal husbandry economy in Etuke Banner by the local investigation and fundamental research in detail. The result indicates that Etuke's animal husbandry is facing a stern test, such as serious ecological degradation, increasing of production cost and violent market competition. At present, approximately 72% of practicable grassland has been degraded in Etuke Banner up to 2001.This is because of the increasing numbers of the animals and people , and the unreasonable use of the grasses.The grass is the renewable resource, so the degraded grass can be restored, the grass resource's sustainability can be guaranteed, and the main contradictory in the present development can be resolved by the scientific managements. The concrete measures include: (1) From the point of ecology, the fist step is to strengthen the reasonable use of the resources and the setting up of the artificial grass, and to protect and restore the grass ecology system ; the second step is to coordinate ecologic restore and the contradictory of the animal husbandry productivity in the development, and to realize the good recycle of the ecologic restore and productivity development;(2) From the point of the sustainable economic development , we can raise the development space of the grass animal husbandry economic by the developing the market deeply; and can adjust the industrial structure and implement variety innovation projection in the core of Domestic animal's improvement, and then transform the way of management so as to advance the integration management model as the feature of " enterprise + base + Herd household, and improve the system of socialization service , and safeguard the development of grass animal husbandry healthily and steadily. So by the above measures , we can realize the sustainable development of the animal husbandry.
