A Study On Agricultural Industrialization And Development Of Regional Economy In Jilin Province

China's economic development has experienced a long history course in which agriculture provided accumulation for industry. Accordingly, the"three dimensional rural issues", i.e. agricultural, rural and farmer issues, are the great costs from it. Today,"three dimensional rural issues"severely restrict the development of national economy. In the metaphase of industrialization, the important and pressing tasks that the country faces in the economic development are how to plan as a whole between urban and rural development, how to design agriculture development in the way of industrialization, and how to feed back agriculture with industrial surplus. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, agricultural industrialization concept came forth firstly, which has already posed certain scale now. It becomes a key approach to accomplish this history task, as another institutional innovation following the Family-based Contracted Responsibility System.By taking the practice of agriculture industrialization in Jilin province through evaluating the agriculture industrialization growth level in Jilin province as an example, the study sets its targets as to demonstrate the real function and effect of agriculture industrialization; to discuss the organization pattern and applicable condition theoretically; to analyze and solve the problems in the practice of agriculture industrialization; to point out the direction and options for further development of agriculture industrialization in Jilin province; and finally to bring forward the development strategy/countermeasures.In the first chapter, the applicable condition and options under different agriculture industrialization patterns were discussed in depth, and theoretical methods/countermeasures aiming at the breach of contracts were brought forward, based on the common theories of agriculture industrialization.In the second chapter, we analyzed the inevitability of agriculture industrialization based on the situation of Jilin province, summarized the current growth level of agriculture industrialization in Jilin province from six aspects, and finally gave the evaluation on the new growth of agriculture industrialization in Jilin province. The main conclusions are as follows: Agro-product processing industry plays a key role in the growth level of agriculture industrialization; Organization pattern and stakeholders interaction are the key factors of the success of agriculture industrialization.In the third chapter, we summed up and analyzed the existing problems in the development agriculture industrialization in Jilin from aspects of program planning, organization pattern, operating mechanism and farmer's participation, based on institutional economic theory, cooperative economic theory, and management theory, etc.In the fourth chapter, we pointed out the further developing direction of agriculture industrialization in Ji Lin in terms of guiding ideology, basic routes and development goals, taking the characteristics of regional economic resources into account; and put forward the concrete development pathway options in agriculture industrialization, from the perspective of improving the development factors of agriculture industrialization.In the final fifth chapter, countermeasures/development strategy targeting the existing problems in course of agriculture industrialization were brought forward, starting with the key factors and aiming at increasing the development level of agriculture industrialization.In this study, based on the case of agriculture industrialization and regional economy in Jiin province, it was all-round and systematically explained the development status quo of agricultural industrialization in Jilin province, and emphasis is laid on the analysis on the existing problems in the development course and discovery of the development strategy, which have great meaning to accelerating the sustainable and healthy development of agriculture industrialization and which also will enrich and improve the theory of agriculture industrialization in China.
