Theoretical And Empirical Study Of Logistics Enterprise Performance Evaluation

With the reinforcing of the global economic integration, the relationship between domestic economy and the world economy become consanguineous, more and more foreign enterprises are entering China. The entry of the foreign enterprises and the development of the domestic enterprises bring capacious development opportunity, and at the same time, heavy challenges to domestic Logistics enterprise.At present, it is an urgent problem to solve that how to analyses the performance evaluation of logistics enterprise reasonably and comprehensively; how to find out the advantages and disadvantages. Promote to establish enterprise efficient performance mechanism and improve competition ability. However, there is not a perfect performance evaluation system in enterprise field, especially, in newly-born logistics enterprise field. Based on this, the present thesis is devoted to study the performance evaluation of logistics enterprises on theoretical and empirical level. The main results achieved in this thesis can be summarized as follows:1. Combined with the present studies on the performance evaluation of logistics enterprise in home and abroad, a comprehensive review of its background and significance is summarized.2. The theory of the performance evaluation of logistics enterprise is discussed in details, it concludes the definition of the logistics enterprise, the logistics functions, the foundational theory, key elements, and the basic principle of enterprise performance.3. Based on the prior studies production, according to the advantages and disadvantages of EVA (Economic Value Added) and BSC (Balanced Score Card) evaluation systems, integrate them into a new combination of both financial and non-financial index system of logistics performance evaluating.4. The comprehensive evaluation methods of logistics performance are summarized. Then combined with the characteristic of logistics enterprise, put forward an effective method--DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) to logistics performance evaluation.5. With the application of EMS linear programming software, using the C~2R model of the Data Envelopment Analysis to the dynamic efficiency comprehensive evaluation of the Futian, Rikun Storage and Transport Co, Ltd. (Guangzhou).The above research results are of significance for studying the performance assessment of the logistics enterprise and my work has some reference value to application.
