This paper focuses on the topic of mobile stream media service pricing from the View of the methodology analyzing and the demonstration researching. With the brief introduction of the paper background and bringing forward the topic, this paper will start with the pricing objects and pricing principles, and then analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the popular pricing methods. After that, we will make a comparison between the pricing methods, and we hope to find out the proper methods while eliminating the improper ones. In the demonstration researching section, we will choose the representatives from the foreign mobile operators such as KDDI, Vodafone and so on. After that, we will begin two jobs: analyzing the pricing structure and the price level from the horizontal view, and analyzing the pricing character from the vertical view. Here we prefer to find out the unique pricing styles of the foreign operators, and we hope it can do help to domestic operators. In the end, this paper will summarize the heuristic points and experiences, and we hope these points can be good references to Chinese developing mobile stream media services in the future.
