As a kind of ideology, the organizational culture is a pattern of basic assumptions invented, discovered, or developed by a given group as it learns to cope with its problems of external adaptation and internal integration. The problem of external adaptation emerges along with physical basis changing. To rebuild the corporate culture so as to integrating the internal strength is the basic command for the corp. to suit for the changing circumstances. Nowadays China Netcom faces new circumstances that are complicated and multiple so that she start organization transformation, rebuilding the corporate culture system is no time to delay.In the preface, bring forword the question about China Netcom corp. culture change.In the second chapter, state related theories about corp. culture and the research status outside and inside China.In the third chapter, use culture change experiences of other organizations for reference.In the forth chapter, describe the circumstances change around China Netcom and the succedent organization transformation.The fifth chapter is the emphasis of this thesis, In this chapter, contrast the building culture and the old culture, analyse the two different in-depth basic assumption.The sixth chapter elementary introduce the social surface of the corp. culture.
