Study On Virtual Organization Of The Networks Research And Development Project

The virtual structure, based on research and development(R&D) of network organization, is a new model of project development consisted of different teams with various key competitiveness in order that they can finish the tasks of research and development projects. The basic characteristics of this structure is that each part coordinates with other parts.This paper do some research and analysis on the structure and management of the virtual organization. At first, the forming reasons, managing specialities and affected factors of this structure have been investigated theoretically from the point view of project management, organization structure, Virtual network operation and R&D administration. Secondly, the compared analysis has been done to the structural model and characteristics with the emphasis on the combination of industries, universities and institutions as well as strategic coalition, it is suggested that the most important role of project management of virtual network R&D comes from Project Management Office. Thirdly, the operation manner and management have been studied that the administration models have been proposed according to the suggestion of Project Management Office. At last, the application feasibility in R&D administration of Project Management Office has been demonstrated with the help of practical case analysis.In conclusion, it is suitable to organize and coordinate the operation of network R&D projects. Meanwhile, the operation manners can be modified through the common function of selecting good partners, managing the culture of the organization and human resource administration.
