| Wujin hi-tech industrial zone (WIZ) was approved by Jiangsu province in 1996 when was relatively late. WIZ have made a significant success from start-up, however, WIZ is running behind other advanced development zone from a diverse of aspects, such as Total GDP, science and technology innovation, and foreign investment promotion. WIZ does not create a balance comparing with the national influence Wujin district has created. The gap still exists and the overall ranking is not in the front among the provincial level development zones in Jiangsu province.Therefore, WIZ has to innovate administration policies and make a breakthrough at the management mode of development and construction in order to find a solution for lack of financing and land. Working for offering favorable investment environment and improving general competition capacity is also the purposes for standing on better position in the new around of attracting' foreign investment in Yangtze River Delta. WIZ will perform its functions of investment promotion and industries integration in Wujin District, and stimulate the industrial infrastructure update, resource integration, technology innovation, and general competition capacity improving, and hence to achieve the aims of establishing wealthy society and harmonious society. |
