Study On The Spatial Structure Of Urban System In The County Administrative Area And Its Optimization

The spatial structure of urban system refers to the spatial relationship such as distribution, connection and combination among cities or towns with different scale and function in the same urban system. Rational spatial structure of urban system is conducive to rationally distributing regional resources, optimizing the industrial layout, expanding investment returns, and thus promoting the rapid growth of regional economy. However, due to the irrational spatial structure of urban system, many county administrative level small towns in China have been unable to optimize the allocation of regional resources and expand investment returns now, which to some extent restrict the economic development of them. At present, research on the spatial structure of urban system in Chinese academia mainly focuses on the provincial administrative level or even larger level region, but the research on small-scale region such as the county administrative area is very little, let alone using mathematical methods and models to quantitative analyze it. Therefore, based on the theories on spatial structure of urban system such as central place theory, theory of urban spatial interaction and fractal theory etc, this paper taking Yongxing county as example studied the spatial structure of urban system in the county administrative area, found the existent issue of the urban system and put forward idea, Countermeasures and modes for optimization. Undoubtedly it is very useful and meaningful for small towns to solve the previously mentioned various problems and promote the rapid economic development of county administrative area, and to a certain extent, Enrich the theoretical study of spatial structure of urban system.This paper can divided into five parts: The first part is preface, which summarized the background and significance of the papers topics, and introduced the progress and trends of the research overseas and interiorly. Finally put forward the research program of this paper.Part Two is theoretical basis, which simply summarized the theories that provide theoretical support for this paper.Part Three is the introduction of the basic situation about the studied area, which introduced the basic situation of Yongxing county from the angle of historical spatial evolution and regional basic developing conditions.Part Four is the emphasis of the paper, the study on the spatial structure of urban system in Yongxing county administrative area. In this section, this paper studied the spatial structure of urban system in Yongxing County by using a fractal model and an interaction force and breakpoint model, and got the feature of the spatial structure of urban system in Yongxing County.Part Five includes the idea, Countermeasures and modes for optimization. Firstly summarized the existent issue of this urban sYstem, then put forward the ideas and basic mode for optimization, and finally posed the Countermeasures.Part Six is conclusion and discussion, which summarized the conclusions of the paper, and pointed out the innovative points and shortcomings of it.
