Sustainable Development Evaluation And Countermeasures For Eleven Cities Of JiangXi Province

As a concept and developmental strategy, Sustainable development hasobtained wide spread acceptance in the world scope with the approval. In the processof the sustainable development from the concept and the theory to practice, how toappraise sustainable development level and ability about one region is a veryimportant and unavoidable question, that is to say how to establisha set of appraisalsystem to measure the sustainable development and attributes the regional sustainsthrough this set of system. At present, domestic and foreign research about theSustainable development appraisal was still at the exploration stage, it has notformed a set of target system and appraisal method which be generally accepted, itaffect the implementation of sustainable developmental strategy directly. At the sametime, the research achievements about sustainable development appraisal research ofeleven cities of JiangXi province are not Certainly many comprehensively, in viewsof this kind of situation, the research contents of this article mainly includes:First, a sustainable development appraisal target system about eleven cities ofJiangXi province has been designed. It has 63 targets and 4 levels including the goallevel, the domain level, the subject level and target level. It has 5 subsystemsinvolving the population, the economy, the society, the resources, and theenvironment. It starts from introduces of sustainable development and its appraisaltheory, studies and compares quite multitudinous research obtains about regionalsustainable development appraisal target system, refers mature domestic and foreignregional sustainable development appraisal target systems, acts according to actualsituation of JiangXi Province, and unifies the data to be possible to result in thenature and may the quantification.Next, a real diagnosis appraisal has been carried on which is taking thisappraisal system as the foundation and using three methods which are the principalcomponents analysis, cluster analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process. The appraisalresult indicated that the regional difference about sustainable level of development of the eleven cities of JiangXi Province is obvious, they presents three ranks regions inthe space and have not achieved the basic request of sustainable development, thesystem of regional sustainable development is an uncoordinated situation basicly.At last, from this proposed the sustainable development countermeasures andthe basic wayto implement the sustainable development level about JiangXiProvince which including improving the human resources quality, developingcirculate economy vigorously, establishing resource conservation, the environmentfriendly society, planning the city and countryside development. At last, proposed aseries beneficial countermeasures and suggestions.
