With the further implementation of our national economic & financial reform, the demands on credit service from various aspects of the society become imminent. To lead the credit checking Industry to a healthy and normative development has become a task of top priority to improve the national market economic system. At present, the credit checking industry of our nation is still at the starting stage, and there is a great disparity comparing with the developed countries. How to set up and improve our national credit checking patterns and the supervisory system is the fundamental problem, which demands prompt solution during the credit checking system establishment and development. This thesis has studied these relevant issues and tried to put forward the operation solutions.This thesis takes the method of comparative study, systematically introduces the three credit checking patterns and supervisory systems adopted by the major foreign credit checking countries, and carries out objective analysis of the national credit checking development status and existing problems.Through analyzing the factors influencing the national credit checking pattern selection, it puts forward the pattern which our national credit checking industry should adopt, and the steps and implementation solution to build this kind of pattern, which is to rely on government dominance during the transition stage, put up the data collection platform with the support of the basic Central Bank enterprises and the personal credit information database, accelerate the improvement of relevant legal systems, develop the credit checking organizations of different levels and different business types, finally realize the complete market-based operation.Then it analyzes the current situation and existing problem of present credit checking supervision, puts forward the concept of the national credit checking industry's supervisory system, sets forth the content of the supervision subject, supervision object and the supervision legal system, the goal is to form the " four in one "supervisory system.To set up our national credit checking pattern and its supervisory system, there are still many difficulties, such as the laws and regulations are imperfect, the government'role is indefinite, the effective demand on credit is insufficient, etc., to the current situation, this thesis make the suggestions: to accelerate the credit legislation pace, enforce the government's function, strengthen the credit checking system establishment, improve the credit consciousness of the whole society, promote the forming and development of the credit checking market.
